For CNFSSSD, a brand rooted in brutalist aesthetics and critical reflections on consumerism, I created a launch lookbook that embodied their bold philosophy. Inspired by concrete and metal, the visuals highlight the tension between strength and vulnerability.
The lookbook gained recognition with a feature in GQ Magazine, celebrating CNFSSSD’s ability to elevate streetwear with depth and innovation. This collaboration was a powerful blend of storytelling and raw visual artistry.
Shoot Concept
The idea for the shoot was born during a meeting in a trendy café in Amsterdam. Our styles and visions aligned seamlessly, and we quickly agreed on creating an environment that exuded rawness: concrete, high ceilings, and a minimalist yet edgy, fashionable, stylish look.
The lookbook needed to be playful and diverse, incorporating striking details and unconventional poses. This approach led to the creation of the now-iconic jumping shot. The choice of models was equally inspiring—Timo (the founder) opted for a mix of unique talents, including an international dancer and DJ, an emerging model with a distinct high-fashion appeal, and an international model sourced through an agency.
The result is a dynamic and bold representation of CNFSSSD’s vision, capturing the brand’s essence in every frame.
About CNFSSD
CNFSSSD blends brutalist aesthetics with the untamed energy of rave culture. The fully unisex collection offers versatility that perfectly fits a modern, boundaryless style. From a comfortable hoodie and cropped top to a bold pair of trousers with a zipper running all the way from bottom to top—a design that’s also my personal favorite.
Each piece is crafted with both comfort and expression in mind, inspired by the raw atmosphere of underground raves while casting a critical light on consumerism. CNFSSSD creates fashion that is not just worn but makes a statement—on the dance floor and beyond.
